2) Kyra got a little step ladder for Delaney so that he could look over the wall that was now preventing him from stepping out into his yard to enjoy the outdoors. His reponse to Kyra's sokution was, " Yeah, sure. And what about the ramparts and the boiling oil?" He was baisiclly implying that he was looked up like a princess in a castle surrounded with boiling oil.
ReplyDelete3) The difference between Candido and Delaney's progress on Thanksgiving Day is that Delaney is preparing for a fancy dinner party with his family and friends while Candido is busy trying to make a fire to cook the turkey he was gifted by some white folks to feed his pregnant wife.
4) America didn't run when the fire started because, since she is pregnant, she is so big, she can barely walk.
agreed with Brianna. and the allegories in Delaney's article was that he suggested readers to act on his writings and do something about the increasing number of Mexicans.
